My good-hearted student Ahmed just adopted a baby squirrel that he named "Scratchy." That is so cool. Makes me think of that Seinfeld episode when George accidentally hit a squirrel with his car but wanted his new girlfriend to think he was a good guy so he took the squirrel to the vet. And somehow he gets stuck with a convalescing squirrel. So funny. Anyway. Good for you, Ahmed. Is that why you weren't in class yesterday?!
